Popular film actress of present generation Achol started her career through Raju Ahmmed’s movie, Bhool. She won the hearts of many film-lovers to act in her debut movie. For this reason, she later
presented some viewers’ choice movies like Bailey Road, Jotil Prem, Prem Prem Paglami, Ki Prem Dekhaila, Swapno Je Tui, Kistimat,
Ajob Prem, Sultana Bibiana, among others. Day by day, Achol is changing herself. Now she has concentrated to acting rather than previous times. On February 2, she received special honour for
acting in movies from Dhaka Lalitakala Academy. Before receiving the award, Achol took part in a performance in the award giving ceremony.
Achol informed that she has been engaged with 10 movies now. Among these, shooting of some movies are finished, while some others’ shooting are going on and dubbing is incomplete. These movies are: Montazur Rahman Akbar’s Kajer Chhele, Ghor Bhanga Sangsar and Ayna, Shahin Sumon’s Mafia, Raihan Mujib’s Chandni, Faridul Hasan’s Corporate, Mizanur Rahman Labu’s Jomoj Bhooter Golpo, Mizanur Rahman’s Ragi, Jewel’s Chitkar and Jafar Al Mamun’s Ek Poshla Brishti.
While sharing her feelings to engage with 10 movies and also getting the award, Achol said, “On the occasion of 10 years celebration of Dhaka Lalitakala Academy, I am grateful to honour me. Any award inspires the actor to perform well. I am very much delighted in this regard. I have sacrificed this award to my fans. I am engaged with 10 movies. I liked stories and my characters in these movies. Now I am waiting to get release dates of these movies.”
Meanwhile, in the beginning of New Year, Achol performed in a music video of a song titled Premer Prasad. Syed Omi and Masud Ahmed jointly wrote lyrics of this song, while Omi himself also composed its tune besides giving his voice. Achol and Omi performed as models in the music video of this song.
