Sirajul Islam Sajib, a former worker of Aarong Banani outlet, confessed to a court admitting his involvement in recording video in the ‘change room’ of the female staff. Magistrate Dhiman Chandra Mandal of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka recorded the confessional statement on Tuesday.
Earlier, Investigation Officer, Inspector of Cyber Security and Crime Division of DMP Azharul Islam produced him in the court. After recording the statement, the accused was sent to the jail.
On January 25, Sub-Inspector Faruk filed the

case against Sajib with Banani Police Station.
On January 16, a young lady filed a general diary with the police station and complained to the Cyber Security and Crime Department.
According to the case statement, Sajib allegedly blackmailed the girl by threatening to circulate her obscene video clips that were captured by the hidden cameras in the dressing room earlier.
