The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has asked six officials of Rajdani Unnayan Kartipakhaya (Rajuk) to face interrogation in connection with Rajuk plot irregularities.
ACC deputy director Zulfikar Ali on Thursday served a notice upon the Rajuk chairman to direct them to be present at the ACC head office on August 25-26 next, an ACC source said. On August 25, the national anti-graft body will question Rajuk member Aktar Hamid Bhuiyan, director Khijir Ahmed and deputy director AKM Ahsan Iqbal Bhuiyan.
Rajuk assistant directors Habibur Rahman and Abu Musa and typist Monowara Begum will be interrogated on August 26. According to ACC sources, the commission earlier received allegations that former Rajuk chairman Nurul Huda took a plot against his name at Purbachal Sector 9, while another Rajuk plot allotted to his wife’s name. According to Rajuk rules, if one gets a government plot, his wife or family members cannot avail of another plot.
