The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Thursday summoned BNP Vice-Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo’s son Tafsir Md Awal to interrogate him over his alleged involvement in corruption.
In a notice, the commission asked Tafsir Md Awal, who is also the owner of Multimode Limited, to appear in its head office on August 31.
According to the notice, an investigation is underway regarding various kinds of irregularities against him. Tafsir’s reply is reportedly needed about the allegations for the sake of fair investigation.
