UNB, Dhaka :The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday interrogated a Sonali Bank general manager for allegedly accumulating illegal wealth.ACC assistant director Masudur Rahman questioned general manager ATM Mizanur Rahman for two hours from 10 am at the ACC head office in the capital, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.Early this month, the ACC decided to initiate aprobe into the allegation that Mizanur Rahman was involved in swindling out of money from Sonali Bank through disbursement of loans among private firms against fake documents while he was a deputy general manger in the foreign exchange section of its local office during 2011-2014.According to the allegation received by the ACC, he amassed a huge amount of money through illegal means. He has land property, including a building, worth Tk 5 crore in the capital as well as two luxurious cars.
