It was June 6 in 1990 when the last DUCSU (Dhaka University Central Students’ Union) elections were held. But after that, there was no election in so many years. Presently, the general students, teachers, political activists and leaders are showing a great deal of enthusiasm after Dhaka University authorities have announced DUCSU polls schedule. As a matter of fact that, the whole nation is also now waiting eagerly to see a peaceful DUCSU election amid festivity.
I’m hopeful that the DU administration would be able to hold the election without any fear and favour.
