Abdul Gaffar tests corona positive

Former footballer of Bangladesh National Football team and former member of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Abdul Gaffar has tested positive for coronavirus.
After testing his sample of blood and cough on Monday last, Abdul Gaffar got his medical report on Tuesday. According to the report he was infected by coronavirus.
Abdul Gaffar is now in home isolation and is taking medication there.
Abdul Gaffar played for Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club and Dhaka Abahani Limited in the First Division Football League (the highest level football competition in the country) in the nineties. Besides, He also played for Bangladesh National Football team for a long time.
Abdul Gaffar was awarded National Sports Award for his contribution in Bangladesh’s Sports.
Gaffar said to a local website, ” I have been suffering from fever and cold for some days. After testing my blood and cough I tested positive for coronavirus. I don’t feel any severe problem. I am taking medical treatment at home according to my physician.”
Earlier, player of Bangladesh National Cricket team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Members of BFF Fazlur Rahmen Babul, Shawkat Ali Khan Jahangir, General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) and Deputy-Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Deputy-Secretary General of BOA Ashikur Rahmen Miku tested positive for coronavirus. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza overcame coronavirus. Rest of them are also in a good shape.
