Death row convict dies in jail

bdnews24.com :A death row inmate at Gazipur’s Kashimpur jail has died.Ramzan alias Makbul was convicted in a 2013 murder in the district’s Tongi.The 55-year-old has been kept at the high security prison for one year.Prison authorities said he complained of chest pain after Sunday midnight.“He was rushed to the jail hospital before transferring to the medical college hospital in Gazipur where the doctors declared him dead,” Jail Superintendent Md Mijanur Rahman told bdnews24.com...
