Police here on Saturday recovered body of a fisherman who was abducted by forest robbers from a shoal of Meghna River in Ramgati.
The deceased was identified as Saidul Hawladar, a local fisherman of Ramgati.
Locals said two days earlier some forest robbers attacked a fishing trawler and abducted two fishermen- Saidul Hawladar and Abul Kalam from char Abdullah area. Later in the morning locals spotted Saidul’s body which was floating on the river and informed police.
