Title aspirants Abahani Limited and league leaders Usha Krira Chakra posted wins in their respective Super League matches of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League on Friday.
In the day’s first match, Abahani Limited thrashed Ajax Sporting Club by 13-1 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Abahani had a massive 6-1 goals lead in the first half.
Hashim of Abahani Limited hit a hat-trick and his teammate Kashif Ali scored three goals and their colleagues Mimo, Romman netted two goals each. Ameer Shahzada, Mussa Miah and Niloy successfully struck one time each on the board.
On the other hand, Rahat scored the lone goal for the losers.
In the day’s other match, Usha Krira Chakra blanked Sadharan Bima by 4-0 goals at the same venue.
Usha had a narrow 1-0 lead in the first session.
Chayan and Krishna of Usha Krira Chakra scored two goals each.
