Dhaka Abahani Ltd maintained their winning run to take the solo lead in the Bangladesh Premier Football League beating newcomers Uttar Baridhara Club by 2-0 goals at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
With the feat, Abahani Limited dominated the league table securing 16 points from six matches while Uttar Baridhra remained at their previous collection of 5 points, playing the same number of matches.
Midfielder Shahedul Alam Shahed and Ghanaian forward Awudu Ibrahim scored one goal each for the popular sky-yellow Dhanmondi outfit, one in each half in the day’s match
