Mahmudul Alam and Abdur Rahman have joined AB Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Directors recently. Alam, joined as Head of Credit, completed his MBA (Major in Financial Management) from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in University of Dhaka.
He started his Professional Career from IDLC Ltd on 1990, subsequently worked in different capacities in Shahjalal Islamic Bank Limited, GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited. He has more than twenty eight years of work experience with different Banks and reputed financial organizations in Bangladesh.
Prior to his joining at AB Bank, he was Managing Director and CEO of Union Capital Limited.
On the other hand, Abdur Rahman has joined the bank as Deputy Managing Director – Head of Retail Banking Division. He started his career since 1994 in ANZ Grindlays Bank, Bangladesh. He has more than twenty five years’ experience in banking industry; 13+ years in world class multinational Bank; ANZ Grindlays and Standard Chartered Bank and 11+ years in country’s top private sector Bank like BRAC Bank and City Bank Ltd.
Rahman has enriched his experience of Retail and SME Banking by working in various capacities in Branches and Head Office of ANZ Grindlays, Standard Chartered, BRAC and City Bank Ltd.
