Aroni and Shirin are two friends studying in two departments at the University of Dhaka. Aroni is studying in Bangla department, while Shirin is a student of Economics department. Basically story of TV play Bangla, directed by Taslima Mukta, revolves with the tales of these two friends. Rafiqul Islam Poltu has written story of the play. Shooting of the play was done on Dhaka University campus and its adjacent areas. Popular actress Tisha performed in role of Aroni, while super heroine Rehana Rakhi acted in role of Shirin in the play Bangla. The play will go on air within this month, said its director Taslima Mukta.While talking about her performance in the play Tisha told this correspondent, “I always want to work in those plays which are made on the occasion of special days. I have liking in this regard to perform in such type of plays. Story of play Bangla is nice. I think viewers will enjoy the play.”Rehana Rakhi shared her feelings by this way, “I have worked with Tisha apu for the first time in any TV play. I have learnt many things from her to perform in this play. She is very cooperative actress.”Meanwhile, yesterday the birthday of Tisha, while today is the birthday of Rehana Rakhi. However, Tisha has already finished work of a faction play titled Chokh-e Chokh, directed by Arif Khan. Rehana Rakhi started her career in media after competing in the contest titled Super Hero Super Heroine in 2009. Rakhi acted first TV play was Bipul Raihan directed Palolik Mon. n
