A plan has been accepted to build a modern stadium at Dumuria Upazila in Khulna district. Sports Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder visited the place, where the stadium will be built. Biren Sikder spoke at a meeting held at Dumuria in Khulna recently.
Biren Sikder said, “We have approved that a stadium will be built in each 490 upazilas.” Local MP and State Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Narayan Chandra Chanda presided over the meeting.
Chairman of Dumuria Upazila Parishad Khan Ali Munsur, Acting UNO of Dumuria Upazila Rafiqul Hasan were present as special guests.
