Our Correspondent :The Holy Quran was not demeaned by Abu Yunus Md Shahidunnabi Jewel who was beaten and later burnt to death, said Al Mahmud Fauzul Kabir, head of the three-member National Human Rights Commission’s investigation team.Kabir, also the director of NHRC’s complaint and investigation, said, the barbaric incident occurred after rumour of demeaning the Holy Quran was spread.The team visited Burimari Jam-e Masjid,Union Parishad office and the crime scene and took testimony of locals including the eyewitnesses, Kabir said...
