Most of the time it is seen that those persons who are related with the performing arts they cannot get relief from their regular schedules. Among them, who select acting as their key profession they cannot attach with different professionals except acting. In this case, National Film Award winner actress and director Rokeya Prachy is absolutely different from others. Besides acting and giving direction, she engages herself not only with social welfare related activities but also visits outside the capital areas to take part in different activities.
This time Rokeya Prachi attended a programme in the city’s Uttara area’s Anwara Mannaf Girls’ School and College to inspire the students about education and besides other activities. With the invitation from Principal of the school Md Abul Hossain she attended the school at 11:00am on January 18. The students became excited to see Rokeya Prachy in their school. They performed recitation, music and small play to honour her.
While sharing her feelings in this regard Rokeya Prachi said, “This day will be one of the red letter days in my life. The day began with the activities of such lovely students. There is no option for me to be part of the family in which I was born but every day I have been introducing with new persons which always help me to gather new experiences in my life. It is really a remarkable day for me. This school is a non-profitable institution and I believe students of this school will establish themselves in future successfully.”
After her inspiration speech Rokeya Prachy replied to the questions from the students. It was really a different Rokeya Prachy to them.
