They have spent over TK. 1 crore for this. Jashore’s shops, shopping malls and markets are closed due to Covid-19.
It goes without saying that there is no possibility of launching the cattle markets. So there is no way to save the traders except by launching online market. There will be pictures of different types of animals in the online cattle market.
The cattle markets will have the farm owner’s name, address and mobile number. If the animal is preferred, it will be delivered to the buyers’ house. There will also be separate apps for entering the market.

District Livestock Officer Bakhtiyar Hossain said, Covid’s condition in Jashore is very dire. Strict restrictions are being enforced. Ordinary people are not being allowed to leave the house in any way. If the situation continues like this, there is no way to save the farmers without online cattle farm. All the steps will be implemented to make Cattle market online.
If the rate of covid infection is somewhat normal, the animal shelters will be introduced in a short range in compliance with hygiene and social distance.
Jashore Additional District Magistrate Kazi Sayemuzzaman said, All the cattle markets in the district have been closed due to the increase in corona infection. The lockdown is ongoing. The district administration has taken initiative to activate an online platform for the sale of sacrificial animals. I am motivating to sell animals online.
An initiative has been taken to launch a separate portal for the sale of sacrificial animals.
Activities have already started.
At the same time, we hopeful that if the coronavirus infection is less, it will be possible to start the cattle shed before the sacrifice. Farmers do not have a chance to panic. They will be able to sale their sacrificial animals.
