Chittagong district police in a series of drives arrested 94 persons including three activists of Jammat-Shibir with Yaba and Liquor from different upazilas of the district on Wednesday night.
Abdul Awal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of
Chittagong district, said police detained 94 persons with 140 Yaba tablets and 40 litres country made liquor from different upazilas of the district for their alleged involvement in sabotage activities and vandalism.
The detainees also include 85 arrest warrantees and four accused in regular cases, he said.
