Chittagong Metropolitan police recovered about 95 kgs hem(ganza) and 30 bottles phensidyle from Railway GRP thana area within the railway station area of Chittagong on Thursday morning. These drugs were recovered from a godown near Shovaniya Club premises adjoining to GRP thana . Following the confession of one detained yaba trader Rana, Kotwali thana police conducted raid in the area on late night of Thursday, sources said. Drug peddler was arrested from city area on Wednesday last. Sub Inspector of GRP thana Md. Yar Ali told that the d en of drug was grown up at Shovniaya Club house premises by some drug traffickers since long and police recovered the intoxicated drugs worth about 9 lakh from the house.Police sources said drug trafficking gang leaders viz. Manir and Faruk of Barisal colony were using this godown as their den of drugs within the railway colony and Barisal colony areal.
