Nine students of Tetnapara Brac School in Tanore upazila fell sick after taking government supplied de-worming tablet on Sunday.
The victims were identified as Shima, 7, Barsha, 9, Laxmi, 9, Mehedi, 9, Yusuf, 9, Bristi, 8, Tania, 7, Fahmida, 7 and Sumon, 8.
Chandana Rani, a teacher of the school, said an official of health services department went to the school in the morning and provided de-worming tablet to 12 students of the school.
After taking the tablets, nine students complained of dizziness and belly ache. At one stage, they fell unconscious.
Later, they were rushed to Tanor Upazila Health Complex and Mu-Mala Municipality Health complex.
