Police on Thursday submitted chargesheet against nine persons, including key accused driver Nuruzzaman and his Assistant Lalan Mia of Swarnalata Paribahan, in a case filed over killing of a nurse after rape in a running bus.
Sarwar Jahan. Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, submitted the chargesheet to the court of Kishoreganj’s Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Al Mamun.
The other chargesheeted accused are bus owner Al Mamun, Rafiqul Islam Rafique, Khokon Mia, Bakul Mia, Borhan, Al Amin and Managing Director Parvez Sarkar Pavel.
Shahinur Akhter Tania,24, a nurse of Ibn Sina Hospital in Dhaka, was killed after rape in a running bus on the Kishoreganj-Bhairab Highway in Gazaria Jamtali area on May 6 last.
