Chittagong district police in a series of overnight drives arrested 84 persons including a Jamaat- Shibir activists with Yaba and Liquor from different upazilas of the district on Wednesday night.
Abdul Awal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district, said police detained 84 persons including a Jammat Shibir activist with 72 pieces contraband sex stimulated Yaba tablets and 35 litres country made liquor from different upazilas of the district. Of the detainees 76 had arrest warrants and 7 were accused in different cases, he said.
