One drug peddler named Nurul Kabir (24) was arrested from Changaonthana area on Friday night about 9pm alongwith intoxicated yaba tablets.
Police recovered 8 thousndyabas from his possession.
He was rounded up infront of Osmania Glass factory under chandgaonthana.
These drugs tablet were brought from Teknaf.
After detaining the CNG taxi infront of the factory, police on searching his hand bag, recovered these yabas.
NurulKabir is the son of Abdul Hoque of Ukiaupazila of coxsbazar.
Police sources said NurulKabir is shouldering three drug cases before the Double mooring and Coxsbazarthana.
A case in connection has been lodged with the chandgaonthana, sources said.
