Eight police officers have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG).
The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry issued a notification on Thursday in this regard.
The police officials are Md Nisarul Arif, Md Aminul Islam, Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, Md abdul Kuddus Amin, Md Harun Ar Rashid, Sheikh Najmul Alam, AZM Nafiul Islam and Md Abul Fayez .
