Customs Intelligence officials seized eight gold bars weighting about 800 grams from Postal Freight Unit at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here on Wednesday morning.
The gold bars had been kept hidden in a parcel of
battery chamber of Sony play station in a flight of SQ446 from Singapore that landed at the airport in the morning, said Assistant Director of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate Umme Nahida.
