8 found dead in 5 districts

Eight people, including two children, were found dead in separate places of Moulvibazar, Laxmipur, Brahmanbaria, Munshiganj and Chittagong districts on Saturday and Sunday.
In Moulvibazar, police recovered the body of a young man from Digalgazi area in sadar upazila on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 40, son of late Abdul Gani of the area.
Locals said, Mizanur committed suicide by taking pesticide.In another incident, police recovered the hanging body of a truck driver from Boulashi village in Srimangal upazila on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Shankar Das, 40, son of late Pratap Das of the village.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the body of Shankar which was hanging from a mango tree in the morning. Besides, a man who was injured in an attack by his brother, died at Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Kajal Miah, 30, son of late Jahur Miah of Mithipur village in Kulaura upazila.
Police said Harun Miah, elder brother of Kajal along with
some 7/8 men beat up Kajal mercilessly following a dispute over land on April 13. At one stage, they hit Kajal with sharp weapons, leaving him critically injured.
Later, he was rushed to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injures at about 10 am on Sunday.
Meanwhile, a minor boy was found dead at a swamp at Tekahali village in Barolekha upazila on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Redwan Ahmed, 8, son of Maruf Miah of the village.
In Munshiganj, police recovered the decomposed body of a young man from an abandoned building at Chaipa village in Sirajdikhan upazila on Sunday.
