City Corporation Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin at the inaugurated the International Tourism Fair at Peninsula Hotel in the city as chief guest on Thursday.
Mayor said, those who are charge of our tourism sector have not worked properly in the past. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is giving importance to the tourism sector. Visible changes are happening in Chittagong. We have improved the beauty of roadways, dividers. I am trying to coordinate with all service organizations. People’s suffering will decrease.
Chittagong Travel Mart will remain open for the visitors from 10.30 am to 8 pm everyday between October 24 and 26. Participating organizations will offer attractive prizes including air tickets to the winners of Raffle draw to be held every day.
There is much to see in Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban, Khagrachari. Chittagong is called the land of natural beauty. The airlines have to promote Chittagong’s tourism industry. We must attract foreign tourists. You should try to make the connectivity faster.
