The 74th birth anniversary of Shaikh Hasina, Premier of Bangladesh, daughter of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Shaikh Mujibor Rahman and President of Bangladesh Awami League was celebrated in Bagerhat district town and its all the 9 Upazilas by Awami League and its all the front organizations on Monday maintaining health rules and social distance..
Previously Bagerhat district Awami League chalked out a simple programme to celebrate the day in a befitting manner. As a part of the programme a Doa Mahfil was held in the Rail Road district Awami League Office for good health and long life of the premier. At that time freedom fighter Shaikh Kamruzzaman Tuku, General Secretary of Bagerhat district Awami League and Chairman of Bagerhat Zila Parihad, Adv. Farid Uddin, Vice-president of Bagerhat district AL, Adv. Shah-e-Alam Baschu, Khan Habibur Rhaman, Poura Mayor of Bagerhat and Joint General Secretary of Bagerhat district Awami League, Ahad Uddin Haidar, Firozul Islam, Akhtaruzzaman Baschu, Adv.
