7 more killed in road crashes

Seven including two mango traders were killed and several others injured in road crashes across the country on Thursday.
In Rajshahi, two mango traders were killed and two others seriously injured when their mango-laden truck overturned on the Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj Highway in Godagari upazila of the district early Thursday.
Deceased Nuruzzaman, 50 and Ayub Khan, 50, were from Jhikargacha upazila of Jashore.
Godagari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jahangir Alam told news to media that the traders died on the spot when the truck overturned after losing control in Kamarpara area, around 5:30am. The truck was seized. The bodies were sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) for autopsies. An unnatural death (UD) case will be filed over the accident, added the OC.
In Khulna, two persons were killed in a head-on collision between a three-wheeler and a pickup van at Shahid point in Arongghata of the district on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Ariful and Insan, inhabitants of Kuldiya Bomrogari under Dighalia upazila of the district.
Kazi Rezaul Karim, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Arongghata Police Station told the matter to media.
In Dhaka, a raider of bicycle named Saiful Islam,32, was killed when a truck hit him in citys Saydabad area early Thursday.
Deceasd Saiful was inhabitant of Munshiganj district and had local business in Sawmibagh of the capital.
 In natore, a motorcyclist named Apurbha Kumar Das, 18, was killed in a tragic road crash in Naldanga upazila of the district on Thursday noon.
Shafiqur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Naldanga Police Station told the news to the media.
In Habiganj, a pedestrian named Firoj Miah,65, was killed when a passenger bus rammed him in Madhabpur upazila of the district on Thursday.
