The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel in Gatipara Border of Benapole have detained seven woman and men in the morning of Wednesday.
They were detained from Gatipara border observation post (BOP), said the BGB sources.
BGB 21 Battalion Director Lt Col Salim Reza said, they picked up five men, one woman and one child from Daulotpur
bordering area. Although the detained could not produce any valid documents, had been claiming themselves as the citizens of Bangladesh.
Number of the detained rose to eighty six in fifteen days they entered. Bangladesh territory through this bordering belt in Benapole from neighbouring India without valid documents, They were handed over to Benapole Port Police Station , the BGB CO said.
