UNB, Narayanganj :
Seven people were killed and eight others injured when a vegetable-laden truck went down a ditch on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Rupganj upazila on Saturday midnight.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Police said, the accident took place when the Dhaka-bound truck from Sylhet carrying 15 people skidded off the road and fell into the ditch at Golakandail around 12am, killing the seven people on the spot and injuring the eight. The injured people were taken to Rupganj Upazila Health Complex.
