69 rivers marked fall, 18 rise

Water levels in 69 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked fall and 18 stations recorded rise.
Among the 90 monitored water level stations, two river stations have been registered steady while one is flowing above the danger mark, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here on Saturday.
The Kobadak at Jhikargacha is flowing above its danger levels by 78 cm.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna, Padma and Surma-Kushiyara rivers are in falling trend while the Ganges river is in rising trend.
