Staff Reporter :Nor’wester lashes Khulna and adjacent area with a speed of at least 150 kmh this evening causing huge damage. No loss of life so far reported. Deputy commissioner yet to get information from the Upazila. The nor’wester, that lasted half an hour from 7.45 pm to 8.15 pm battered the city.Hospital sources said more than 68 persons were admitted with injury. The Banijja Mela at Khulna Circuit House was swept away by the wind. Most of the thatched houses have been blown away. Khulna city is out of electricity at present.
