Customs Intelligence Department recovered 65 secret documents of Chittagong Custom House from a Ready Made Garment (RMG) factory on Wednesday night.
Sources said, acting on a tip off, a team of Customs Intelligence Department raided the office and adjoining factory of Al Amin Maritime Apparels Fashion Limited at Noyabazar area in the port city.
The team recovered 65 secret documents of Chittagong Customs House. Of the documents, 11 were on bank guarantee, 43 are on under trial cases and 12 others are on tax.
The officials of the Customs Intelligence Department said that it is a great mystery that how the secret and important documents of Chittagong Customs House were at Amin Maritime Apparels Fashion Limited? They said the necessary action will be taken after completing the investigation.
