Some 65 police members of the Chittagong district police have been promoted as Sub-inspector, Asst.Sub Inspectors and Nayek from the ASI, Nayek and constables.
Out of the promotes, 31 constables promoted as Nayek, 10 constables as ASI , 14 Nayek as ASI and 10 ASI as SI post. A reception function for the promotes was arranged at Halishahar district police line on Wednesday duly presided by Police Super Nure Alam Mina, a police sources said.
