Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) forces in a series of overnight drives arrested 65 people from different areas in the city during the last 24 hours ending Tuesday .
CMP also recovered 2,806 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets, one and a half kilogram (KG) of hemp and 36 litres of country made liquor during the drive.
A press release from CMP press wing said, a total of 65 people were held during the overnight raid under 16 CmP thana areas of the port city.
Thirteen cases were filed with respective police stations in this connection.
