About, 634 people have been sent to home quarantine in four districts of Sylhet Division. Most of them returned recently, said Assistant Director Anisur Rahman of the Sylhet Divisional Office on Wednesday afternoon.. Sylhet district has quarantined 421 people, Besides, Sunamganj 40, in Moulvibazar 151 and Habiganj 22.
Sylhet Civil Surgeon Dr. Premanand Mondal said, People from overseas and their families are in the home quarantine. Besides, one has been kept in the isolation ward of Shaheed Shamsuddin Sadar Hospital in Sylhet.
“In addition to the Health Department officials and employees, Local Administration officials and public representatives have been asked to find out if people in quarantine are following the rules,” he said. Health Department is trying to control the situation with the existing manpower.
