A mobile of district administration led by Executive Magistration Jamal Hossain evicted about 60 unauthorised installations built up beside the railway track in oxygen area on Wednesday.
During eviction drive, a group of Hizra community (3rd gender) resisted the mobile court officials to refrain from evicting .
Following the resistance by the Hizras, two hizras were detained by police. The detained are Md. Hossain and Munni.
Local and eye witneeses sources said Hizra communities opened two rounds fire and police and railway security men repulsed the fire of the Hizras.
Later the Hizras left the spot being resisted by the mobile court and police. While contacted Estate officer of Railway East zone Jasimuddin told this correspondent that beside the rail track a number of unauthorized houses erected and drug business was randomly conitinuing inthese kutcha houses for long time.
