Laxmipur Correspondent :
A devastating fire gutted at least six business establishments in Post Office area of Laxmipur early Sunday.
Fire Services officials said the fire originated from electric shot circuit at a shop in the area at dead of the night and soon engulfed five adjoining shops.
Being informed, fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the flame after one hour of frantic efforts.
The affected shop owners claimed that the loss caused by the fire would be Tk 50 lakh.
