The Bangladesh Film Institute, in collaboration with Muktijuddho 71, has produced six new
documentaries about
the Liberation War.
All the documentaries were directed by noted filmmaker Tanvir Mokammel. Premiere shows for the six films were held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy from March 29 to 30. The shortfilms, 1971 Navy Commando, Belonia Wars and Air Wars Kilo Fight were screened on March 30.
Other films which were screened included Bir Chottola Defence Fight, MujibNagar: Bangladesh Liberation War Government and Jonojoddhu ’71 were screened on March 29.
