6 more killed in road crashes

At least six more persons including two women were killed and many others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Tuesday.
In Gopalganj, at least three persons, including two women, were killed and five others injured in separate road crashes of the district .
The deceased identified as Shamsunnahar,55, was
wife of Maulana Akram Ali from Salta in Faridpur, Munni Akhtar, 17, daughter of Murad Sheikh from Chandani village in Boyalmari upazila of Faridpur; and Shakil Shekh , son of late Ayub Ali Shekh from Gangarampur village in Maksudpur upazila in Gopalganj.
Among the three accidents, two occurred in Kashiani and another in Maksudpur upazila of the districts.
 Md Azizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Kashiani Police Station confirmed the matter to the media.
In Dhaka, a pedestrian named Debraj Chandra Das, 40, was killed when a motorbike rammed him at Notun Bazar, Badda around 6am on Tuesday.
Bachchu Mia, Inspector of Dhaka Medical College Police Outpost, said: “Debraj Chandra was brought to DMCH around 6:30am when the doctors declared him dead.
In Rangpur, a teenage boy was run over by a tractor in Pirgachha upazila of district on Tuesday afternoon.
Deceased Hasanur Rahman Hasan was the son of Ruhul Amin, a resident of North Tambulpur area in the upazila.
 In Bhola, a rider of a bike named Rabiul Islam, 28, was killed in road accident after losing the control on the steering of the bike on Tuesday.
Osim Kumar, Officer in Charge of Borhanuddin Police Station said.
