BSS, Dhaka :
Six people were killed and at least 15 others injured in a road accident in Mirkanda area under Sadar upazila of Mymensingh district on Saturday noon.
Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Nazma Akhter, a duty officer of Sadar police station, told BSS that a passenger bus of ‘Shyamoli Paribahan’ heading towards
Mymensingh Kachari Bazar plunged into a roadside ditch in Mirkanda area under Sadar upazila.
Five passengers died on the spot, while one died on the way to hospital.
The injured were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
