Chittagong Bureau :
Mobile court of Narcotics Control Department of Chittagong rounded up six drug peddlers including a woman from city area on Thursday.
The Mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Habibul Hasan conducted raid in old railway station under Kotwali thana and Shahebpara of Double Mooring thana and manged to apprehend six persons including a woman for their alleged illegal drug business.
The detained confessed their involvement with the drug business to the Magistrate.
Mobile court convicted four of them with different terms of imprisonment and sent them to jail custody and two released after realizing penalty.
The convicted drug peddlers are Sabuj Das,Md. Mustafa, Jakir Hossain and Sampa Begum. Jasim and Sohel were convicted with penalty of Tk.2 thousand each, sources said.
