Chittagong city and district police in a series of drives detained six leaders and activists of Jamaat -Shibir on Saturday night.
Naimul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district said police detained four leaders and activists in overnight raids at various places of Lohagara and Sitakunda, Upazila to prevent possible acts of sabotage.
Chittagong Metropolitan Police also detained two Jamaat activists from different areas in the city last night.
