5th Inter-School-Madrasa Debate Competition opens in Raozan

Former Vice Chancellor of Chittagong University. Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury said, ‘In addition to formal education, it is necessary to acquire knowledge on various contemporary issues. Debates develop students’ talents and create talented leadership.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of the 5th Inter-School-Madrasa Debate Competition on Monday (October 4) with the participation of 18 secondary schools and madrasas of Raozan upazila under the management of Central Boys of Raozan and overall cooperation of Raozan Municipality. Central Boys of Raozan President Md. Saidul Islam presided over the inaugural function at AKM Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury Auditorium in Raozan sadar .
Mayor of Raozan Municipality Jamir Uddin Parvez inaugurated the event. Moinuddin Jamal Chishti, convener of the 5th Inter-School-Madrasa Debate Competition conducted the debate. The special guest at the event are Md. Ali , President of Chattogram Union of Journalist, Masum Chowdhury , Researcher and columnist , Assistant Headmaster CUET School and College Mujibur Rahman. Imtiaz Jamal Naqib, General Secretary of Central Boys of Raozan gave welcome speech.
Mohiuddin Emon, convener of Social Services Union of Raozan, Didarul Alam, joint convener, Shahriar Hasan Shakib, organizing secretary of Central Boys of Raozan, Tareq Hasan, Anik Bhattacharya, Rifatul Islam, Shariful Islam, Noman bin Azizi, Md. Mizanur Rahman, Kazi Shihab, Arfanul Islam Abir, Masum Billah, Engineer Ziku Chowdhury, Sajjad Hossain, Mizanur Rahman Mubin, Arfin Hossain Azad, Omar Farooq Moni, Sudipta Barua, Shahriar Ivan, Mohammad Nahid, Tamim Sikder Saif, Shahedul Islam and others were present among others.
