Some 58 Senior and Assistant Technicians have joined the Nuclear Power Company of Bangladesh Ltd. (NPCBL) of Rooppur Atomic on Monday. The new entrants formally joined the Rooppur NPP (PD Bhawan) building of the project’s Green City.
Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman was the chief guest at the joining ceremony. Ali Hossain, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, was the special guest. The managing director and project director of NPCBL presided over Dr. Shaukat Akbar.
At that time, project site director engineer Ashraful Islam, site in-charge ABM Ruhul Quddus and senior officials of the project were present. Conducted by NPCBL Secretary Abdur Rashid.
Dr. Shaukat Akbar said that the newcomers who joined the project are our future. They will be sent abroad for higher training. Bangabandhu’s Swapre Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant will be managed by them in the coming days.
