Bangladesh has so far reported 482 corona cases since the virus was first detected on March 8. Of them, 270 or 52 per cent of the confirmed cases have been reported in Dhaka, according to health officials.
“Most of the coronavirus affected is reported in Dhaka district while the second position grabs Narayanganj district with 75 cases,” said an official.
According to IEDCR, so far in the country, a total of 8,313 samples have been tested including 954 in the last 24 hours of which 482 cases have been confirmed including 58 in the last 24 hours. Of them, 30 have died so far including 3 new deaths in the last 24 hours.
