Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested five robbers from Jatrabari area in the capital yesterday and recovered two sharp weapons from their possessions, a DMP press release said yesterday.
The arrestees are Shamim, 24, Mofizul, 23, Shelim, 24, Zahid, 20, and Didar, 16.
“A Jatrabari Police Station patrol team detained them at around 7.20 pm on September 27 from Dhalpur Community Center area. Police recovered two machetes from their possessions.” the release said.
A case was filed with Jatrabari Police Station in this regard.
