Five people of the same family have been arrested along with the drug on Friday ,
DB OC Shah Kamal Akand confirmed the matter.
Arrests are Abul Hossain, Solaiman, Shahidul Islam, Helena Begum and Firoza Begum.
The arrestees are the sons and daughter of late Muslem Uddin of the resident of city’s Purohit para area.
OC said, the accused were sent to the Mymensingh court . DB Sub-inspector Anwar Hossain said that on Thursday afternoon, the drug rescue operation was conducted in Kotwali Thana with the helpers.
In the morning, five people of the same family with 200 yaba and 10 gram heroin from Shambhuganj, were arrested. One more drug dealer Kamal Ahmed (35), father late Bachchu Mia, Sankipara, SA Sorker Road under Kotwali police station were arrested with drugs.
