Five members of a family sustained burn injuries in a fire that broke out when a gas pipeline exploded at a flat in the capital’s Uttara area on Friday morning. The victims are Shanawaj, 45, his wife Sumaya, 35, their daughters Sharmin (14) and Joya, 14 months, and son Jarif (9). The house is located at no. 8 house, road-3 and sector-13 under Uttara West Police Station. The victims have been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after the accident. –risingbd.com
